I'm a designer, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, though my path has been anything but linear. Before I ever touched a spec sheet, I was directing music videos and making films, then painting and making art, searching for a language that felt fully mine. Design turned out to be it.

My formal entry into the craft came through an apprenticeship at REI, where I learned the unglamorous, essential fundamentals of apparel, pattern logic, material behavior, the gap between a sketch and something someone can actually wear. From there I moved into the corporate side of the industry, joining VF Corporation and working across Vans, Dickies, and Smartwool. Three very different brands, three very different customers, one consistent education in what it means to design with conviction at scale.

Now, as I relocate to Helsingborg, Sweden, I'm stepping into the next phase, founding LEFT BLANK, a design and brand consultancy rooted in the belief that creative direction and technical craft belong together. It's the natural culmination of everything that came before: the filmmaking eye, the fine art instincts, the years spent inside some of the most recognized names in apparel. LEFT BLANK is where all of it finally lives under one roof.
